Post your Halton news and views at our free World postboxes
IT is now easier than ever to share your news and views with us.
You can post your letters and tell us about your community events free by using our new World postboxes at three local supermarkets.
They are in Runcorn Asda’s 24-hour store opposite Halton Lea shopping centre, the Co-op in Granville Street beside the bus station and library and Morrisons in Greenoaks, near Widnes market.
Dee Samuel, Asda’s community life champion regularly raises money for local charities.
She said: “We are part of the the local community and more than happy to have the World postbox in our store.”
Richard Henderson, manager of the Co-op in Runcorn, said: “Our store had two re-fits last year and is now a focal point of the town. We have 13,000 customers a week and do home deliveries.”
Roy Potter, store manager of Morrisons, which has just had a £500,000 refurbishment, said: “We will put your postbox on our customer service desk so people can easily find it.”
The postboxes will be emptied regularly.
