Halton Haven Hospice recruits volunteer patient and family representative
Halton Haven Hospice is looking for a volunteer patient and carer representative to be based at the Hospice in Murdishaw, Runcorn.
The hospice is committed to providing the best possible care and is keen to hear what patients and their families have to say.
They are looking for a really good listener who can commit to visiting the hospice twice a week for a few hours each time.
Head of clinical services, Viv Gorman said: “This is a really important role that gives patients and their families the opportunity to voice their opinions about what we do here at the hospice.”
As part of this exciting opportunity the successful candidate will talk to patients and their families about their experiences at the hospice, whilst listening to their views about the service that we provide.
They will then represent these views at a hospice meeting to ensure that the voices of patients and carers are heard.
