Robbie Williams tribute act raises £2,000 for Runcorn hospice
A PICNIC in the park in the walled gardens of Runcorn’s Norton Priory raised £2,000 for Halton Haven Hospice.
A Robbie Williams tribute act entertained more than 200 people.
A selection of number one hits were performed and dance music was also provided by DJ Stu Forster and Matty Brown.
Ciaran Clotworthy, hospice events manager said “The Robbie Williams tribute act was absolutely terrific. He got the crowds dancing and everyone commented on how much they enjoyed themselves.
“Every single penny that was raised from the evening will go directly towards providing specialist care free of charge to Halton and surrounding areas.
“I would also like to say a huge thank you to Anthony’s Travel for sponsoring the event. I can’t thank them enough for their continued support.”
Halton Haven are always looking for volunteers to help at events.
