Widnes motorist admits death by dangerous driving
A WIDNES motorist has admitted causing the death of a 78-year-old pensioner.
Colin Unsworth, aged 48, of Arden, Hough Green, today pleaded guilty to causing the death of Hugh Windrow by dangerous driving on November 16 last year.
Mr Windrow, who was apparently on the central reservation at the time of the incident, died in hospital on December 20.
Unsworth also admited making a false statement when he appeared at Liverpool Crown Court.
He was remanded on bail and will be sentenced next month.
