BUSINESSES in the area are being urged to get involved in a global festival.
The leader of Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership has joined Prime Minister David Cameron to try and get companies involved.
The International Festival for Business is set to attract more than 250,000 delegates to Liverpool in June and July 2014.
Christine Gaskell, chair of Cheshire and Warrington LEP, said: “The IFB will be a once-in-a-generation opportunity for companies to make new connections on a global level and to seek new partners, suppliers and customers.
“It will be the most important international business event for Britain in 2014 and a showcase of everything that is brilliant about international and British business.”
Individual conferences and exhibitions will be held at venues throughout the Liverpool city region and potentially in other parts of the North West.
