2:40pm Wednesday 21st August 2013 in News
PLANS are in place to deal with the estimated 58,000 music fans attending Creamfields this weekend, according to Cheshire Police.
The majority of festival goers are likely to be heading for the site on Friday morning and leaving on Monday morning with some congestion expected on nearby roads.
Residents are advised to allow extra time for their journeys and be alert as the roads will be busier than normal.
Festival goers should use junctions 11 and 12 of the M56 and junction 7 of the M62 and follow the designated routes as road closures will be in place.
Shuttle buses will also be running from Liverpool, Manchester and Warrington.
