That brings the total to 14 schools in Runcorn and one in Widnes shut due to the school.

Lunts Heath is the only school in Widnes to close so far.
The bad weather started early this morning and is now heavy for motorists.
Main roads remain clear but more snow is forecast for this morning across Runcorn and Widnes.
