Runcorn's Alice enjoys tea with the Mayor

Alice, Charlotte Codack, enjoys tea with the Mayor and Mayoress of Halton, Clrs Tom and Angela McInerney
EXCITED Runcorn schoolgirl Charlotte Codack, Lewis Carroll Society’s Alice, was invited to Runcorn Town Hall.
The 10-year-old Moore Primary School pupil had afternoon tea with Halton’s Mayor and Mayoress, Clrs Tom and Angela McInerney in the Mayor’s Parlour.
Charlotte’s mum, Nicky, aged 38, of Dorchester Park, Sandymoor, said: “She loved it.
“They showed us around the Town Hall and made us feel very welcome.
“They let her sit in the main chair in the council chamber.
“She found it really exciting.”
Charlotte is the 34th Alice.
Her next engagement will be to present Lewis Carroll’s cheque to adopt a white rabbit at Walton Hall Gardens.
