UPDATED: Body found near Runcorn Widnes Bridge

CHESHIRE Police have confirmed that the body found in the water near the Runcorn Widnes bridge yesterday was a 45-year-old man from Widnes.
A member of the public discovered the body at 4pm on Tuesday, March 20.
A police spokesman said: “There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the man’s death and the HM Coroner has been informed.”
