ENERGETIC tots will be cooking and gardening as families come to see what they get up to during the day.
Butterflies Nursery in East Lane, beside Runcorn’s Halton Lea shopping centre, is holding an open week until Saturday, March 23.
Children will be holding a board meeting and taking part in PE lessons, as they are encouraged to work together as a team.
Cheryl Humphries, acting manager, said: “We provide high quality child care and education for babies and children.
“We strive to nurture each child’s unique qualities and equip them with the skills to grow and develop.
Youngsters learn about healthy eating from the nursery chef, and plant seeds in their own little garden.
The nursery, part of Bright Horizons network, was graded as ‘outstanding’ in all 17 areas by Ofsted inspectors.
Families are invited to visit the nursery any day this week, from 9.30am to 11.30am, or from 2pm to 4pm weekday, or from 10am to 2pm on Saturday.
