BIG-HEARTED Widnes market traders raised almost £1,000 for Comic Relief at a big charity bake on Friday.
Stallholders teamed up to make cakes, buns, tarts and pastries.
They decorated gingerbread men with red nose logos and made lollipops and jellies.
Traders at Halton Council’s market wore red noses, and raffled some cakes for up to £70 each.
