Charity show for Halton Haven
10:10am Thursday 14th March 2013 in News By Barbara Jordan
GIFTED performers are staging a charity show at The Brindley, at 7pm, on Wednesday, March 20, in aid of Halton Haven.
Magic of the Musicals 2 will include songs from West End shows including Joseph And His Technicolor Dreamcoat, Wicked, and Miss Saigon.
Event organiser, Runcorn dad-of-four, Rob LIttler, aged 53, of Norman Road, said: “The youngest person we have taking part is six, whilst the oldest is 70.
“The aim of the show is to bring the community together whilst supporting a brilliant cause. The group is all giving up their time for free and rehearsing twice a week for three months just to bring the show together.
“Putting this show on is about giving something back. Everybody knows someone who has been helped by the Haven. We’re all proud to support such a worthy cause and hopefully the event will raise much needed funds for the hospice.”
Tickets are available from the box office on 0151 907 8360 or online at thebrindley.org.uk
