A POUNDWORLD store opens in Runcorn’s Halton Lea shopping centre today, creating 30 new jobs.
It is company’s largest outlet in Cheshire.
Chris Edwards, junior, trading director of family-owned Poundworld, said: “We’re really delighted to be opening our first and one of our biggest ever stores in Runcorn, creating 30 new jobs for the town.
“Busy shoppers can take advantage of the great location in order to stock up on our fantastic offers and brands.”
Poundworld already has a store in Widnes.
