CHILDREN are making friends and having fun at a new tots group in Hale village.
It was set up by mum Leanne Bailey in the youth centre in Hale Road.
Now, four more mums have teamed up to help run sessions every Friday from 9.30am to 11.30am.
Volunteer mum Anna Rathbone, aged 32, of Home Farm, Hale Road, said: “It’s great for mums like me who can’t drive.
“The children all live in the village so it will help them grow up together before they start school.
“We’ve got lots of toys, paints, sand, water and organise various activities.
“It’s great to see the children having fun and socialising.”
Mums Karen Kurtiz, Laura Kennett, and Hayley Roache enjoy helping out.
Admission is £2 per family.
