Marvel comic illustrator runs cartoon workshops in Runcorn

A COMIC book artist who created characters in the Beano, Dandy, Beezer and Marvel, shared his tips with Runcorn youngsters.

Top writer and illustrator Tim Quinn held cartoon workshops in Monday at HRMZ youth centre in Grangeway and Halton Lea library.

He inspired around 50 young people to draw a character based on a banana and on themselves.

Tim spent more than 30 years editing, illustrating and scriptwriting comic book characters in Britain and New York.

The visit was organised by Halton libraries young activists group.
