Appeal after expensive items stolen from garage in Runcorn

A LARGE amount of expensive items have been stolen from a garage in Runcorn.

Detectives today appealed for witnesses.

Thieves cut padlocks to break into the garage in Cavendish Street.

They stole a set of golf clubs, fishing equipment, a bag of 15 match footballs, walking boots, a Berghaus coat and Berghaus waterproof trousers.

A silver grey Diamondback Stealth mountain bike with blue writing and front and back disc brakes, a Diamondback Peak Disk mountain bike in matt black with orange/red writing front with front and back disc brakes and a specialised Hardrock 21 speed mountain bike in red with front and back disc brakes, were also taken.

The items were taken between 9.45am on Wednesday, February 13, and 9.15am on Thursday, February 14.
