THE jury in the Wayne Basnett murder trial will begin a third day of deliberations today, Friday.
Michael Eves, aged 25, from Speke, is on trial at Chester Crown Court over the death of 30-year-old Mr Basnett,of Mayfield Avenue, Widnes.
The dad-of-three was shot in the head in Pepper Street, Hale Village, shortly after midnight on December 22, 2010.
Eves denies murder and claims he was at his house in East Damwood Road when the shooting happened.
