Valentine's cards promote safe sex

HUNDREDS of Valentine’s cards are being given to teenagers today to promote safe sex in Halton.
The Expect Respect campaign is encouraging young people in Widnes and Runcorn to value each other and not to pressurise partners into having sex.
It also warns about the dangers of unsafe sex in a bid to reduce the number of unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases.
Halton Young Addaction will be distributing photo keyrings, love heart chocolates and advice information.
The initiative also publicises confidential drop in clinics which offer teens advice and help on sexual health matters.
