A COUPLE who met at work in Warrington Hospital has won a dream wedding worth £7,000.

Paramedic Keith Scott, aged 37, and Emma Lowe, aged 32, beat more than 100 finalists to scoop the Wire FM prize.

They were saving up to get married in New York in 2015, but are now looking forward to exchanging their vows at The Fir Grove Hotel in Grappenhall, next April.

Their prize includes a daytime reception, evening buffet, cars, flowers, photographs, groom’s suit and cup cakes.

Keith, from Chichester Close, Murdishaw, Runcorn, said: “We didn’t think we had a cat in hells chance of winning.”

They eventually got through to a ‘Mr and Mrs’ tie-breaker against just one other couple.

Keith said: “The nerves started kicking in.They asked me the date of our first kiss, Emma’s dress size and what she was wearing that day.”

The couple, who have a 15-month-old son, Oliver, and now live in Elton, met five years ago.

Emma Lowe, who works as a senior nurse practitioner at the NHS Walk In Centre in Widnes, said: “I burst into tears when they told us we had won.

“We’re so lucky, we couldn’t ask for anything more.”
