Sisters win Hallmark retailer of the year award
TWO sisters who have won a national accolade are spoilt for choice when it comes to sending themselves a congratulations message.
Hellen Colley, aged 30, and Claire Lenton, aged 33, run a greetings card shop in Albert Road, Widnes.
Their business has won Hallmark’s gold crown retailer of the year award 2012.
Judges assessed their sales performance, customer services, training programmes and marketing skills.
Helen, from Rainhill, said: “Winning the national title against 280 other stores has left us speechless. We would like to thank our fantastic colleagues for doing such a great job as well as our loyal customers for their continued support over the years.”
They employ five staff and bought the business in 2008.
Helen added: “We have managed to grow by introducing new products and various incentives.
“We have excellent staff who always try to go that extra mile for customers.”
