Women urged to get their men's health checked

Free health checks are being offered for men over the age of 18 across Halton
FREE health checks are being offered for men over the age of 18 across Halton.
Statistically, men have a shorter life expectancy than women and are less likely to visit their GP or pharmacy.
Halton’s health improvement team is asking women to encourage the men in their lives to get checked.
Go men’s health checks are being held weekly at Beaconsfield practice on Mondays, the Old Police Station, Mersey Road, Runcorn, on Tuesdays and Thursdays and at Castlefields health centre on Fridays.
Checks are completely confidential and It’s a chance for men to have their cholesterol, blood pressure, heart rate and weight measured.
