Comic illustrator gives free cartooning workshop

A TOP writer and illustrator of one of the most famous comics in the world is coming to Runcorn.
Tim Quinn, former editor of Marvel Comics, will be at Halton Lea Library, from 2pm to 3pm, on Monday 18 February.
He will hold his unique free cartooning workshop at HRMZ Grangeway Youth Centre between 12 noon to 1pm His workshop includes figure drawing, emotion, storytelling in pictures, character and story creation, and comic book history.
Tim’s visit is one of the events organised as part of Halton Libraries’ young reading activists group.
