Two cannabis factories have been discovered at a house in Pit Lane, Widnes
TWO small cannabis factories have been discovered at a house in Pit Lane, Widnes.
Officers from Widnes Neighbourhood Policing Unit seized the drugs for forensic examination after executing a warrant at the Farnworth property at 9.15am on Wednesday, January 23.
A 36-year-old man has been interviewed under caution and will be summonsed to court for producing cannabis.
Sergeant Jacky Gee said: “The warrant was executed as a result of information, which was passed on by the local community. This sort of information is vital in the fight against drug related crime.
“Any information is useful. This could be reporting suspicious activity in your street or passing on information in relation to a property that you suspect is being used for drug use. It could even be reporting a strange smell emanating from a property.”
