HUNDREDS of people are expected to say goodbye to the Runcorn student who died after falling from an Australian waterfall.
The funeral of 20-year-old Josh Furber will be held today at 12 noon, in St Michael’s Church, Greenway Road, followed by burial at Runcorn cemetery.
Former Heath pupil, Josh, from Beechwood, was walking with friends at a World Heritage site near Sydney, when he lost his footing and fell 300ft over the edge of Wentworth Falls.
The Leeds University construction student was on a gap year.
Weeks before the tragic accident, Josh posted on Facebook: ‘This is the best experience of my life and I can honestly say I am living out my dreams.’
A celebration of Josh’s life will be held after the funeral at Beechwood Community Centre, Beechwood Avenue, Runcorn.
His parents, Jayne and Mark, and sisters, Danielle and Beth say everyone is welcome.
