Caravan will provide respite breaks for stroke victims

HALTON’S Let’s Go Stroke Club has bought a caravan in North Wales.

It is being launched next month by the Mayor of Halton, Clr Tom McInerney, who has chosen the club as one of his charities.

The caravan will offer respite breaks for members and their families.

Club founder Bob Bryant, said: “Some of our members find it difficult to come to Devon with us on our summer coach holiday.

“This caravan has full disabled access and is on a private complex with a gym and swimming pool.

“It will be open from March to January and give people a chance to have a respite break.”

The club, which as more than 200 members, is the largest stroke club in Britain.
