Masked burglars steal ATM from Widnes shop

MASKED men burst into a corner shop in Widnes and stole a cash machine.
A gang of between three and five men broke into the premises in Mersey Road in West Bank, through a side door and fled with an ATM.
They were wearing dark clothing and had their faces covered with ski masks or balaclavas.
Detectives today appealed for witnesses.
The burglary happened at around 4.20am on Tuesday, January 8.
