Detective hunt owners of stolen property

DETECTIVES are trying to trace the owners of property stolen from vehicles in Widnes.
The items include sat navs, a car radio, a modem, DVDs, tools and a tent.
PC Christopher Orme, of Widnes Proactive Policing Team, said: "We have recovered a number of items that we think have been stolen from vehicles in the Widnes area over the festive period and we want to ensure that they are returned to their owners.
"We are appealing to anyone who believes that any of these items belong to them to get in touch. We would urge you to give us a call, provide us with a bit more information about the item and we can take it from there.”
