Charlotte Codack, the new Alice
AN excited Runcorn schoolgirl has shared a double celebration with her family and friends.
Charlotte Codack had a sleepover to mark her 10th birthday on Saturday and has been chosen as the Lewis Caroll Society’s new Alice.
Her parents, child minder Nicky, aged 38, and electrician Karl, aged 42, are taking her to Walt Disney World Florida to swim with the dolphins and ride on the Mad Hatter’s tea cups, with her six-year-old brother, Kyle.
Charlotte, a pupil at Moore Primary School, will be the 34th Alice.
Her first engagement will be to present Lewis Caroll’s cheque to adopt a white rabbit at Walton Gardens.
Her mum, Nicky, of Dorchester Park, Sandymoor, said: “She is very excited. She loves Alice in Wonderland.
“She enjoys swimming, dancing and the theatre.”
Charlotte attends Glenda Hill Theatreworks in Brookvale and has appeared in Her Benny in Stockport.
Any organisation wishing to invite Alice to make an appearance or anyone interested in joining the Lewis Carroll Society can contact secretary Ken Oultram on 01606 891303 (day) and 01606 781731 (evening).
