Teenager loses motorcross bike in robbery

A TEENAGER was forced to hand over his motorcross bike after being threatened by a gang.

Police are now are appealing for information following the robbery in Widnes.

Three teenagers were riding motocross bikes on wasteland near Moss Bank Road when they were approached by another group of teenagers.

A member of the second group demanded one of the boys hand over his motocross bike and made threats. The boy handed over the bike to the offender who then left the scene.

The incident happened at around 4.30pm on Sunday, December 23.

The first offender is described as white, aged between 17 and 18, between 5ft 9ins and 5ft 10ins tall with a medium build. He had short red hair, was wearing a black coat and spoke with a Liverpool accent.

The second offender is described as white, aged between 17 and 18 with a pale complexion and a slim build. He had short curly brown hair and spoke with a Liverpool accent.

The third offender is described as white, aged between 16 and 17, about 5ft 9ins tall with a medium build. He had straight blond hair and was carrying a red plastic bag.

The fourth offender is described as white and aged about 20. He had black hair, was wearing a black tracksuit and riding a silver mountain bike.

Anyone with information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident 708 of 23 December 2012.
