ENTHUSIASTIC community groups teamed up to stage a Christmas fair.
The event was to have been held outside but had to be moved into Runcorn’s old police station due to bad weather.
There were 15 stalls selling a selection of festive gifts, novelties and decorations.
Many dressed in Victorian costumes.
Children from St Edward’s Primary School and Victoria Music Group sang carols.
Youngsters visited Father Christmas in his grotto for a gift.
Halton’s Mayor and Mayoress, Clrs Tom and Angela McInerney opened the fair, which was held to build community spirit, promote Runcorn town centre, and give voluntary and community groups a chance to raise funds.
Organisers raised £100 which will be shared by the Mayor’s charities and Connect.
