A MAN was left with severe facial injuries after being assaulted at a Widnes pub.
The 39-year-old victim was attacked at The Premier, a Weatherspoon pub in Albert Road.
He was kicked and punched and was treated in hospital.
Detectives have released a CCTV image of a man they are keen to trace in connection with the assault.
The man is described as white, about 5ft 10ins tall, with a slim build. He had short shaved black hair and was wearing a grey t-shirt and dark coloured trousers.
He spoke with a local accent.
The incident happened at around 5pm on Sunday, November 11.
