Young artists display their creative skills

IMAGINATIVE tots have staged their own art exhibition.
Some as young as nine months displayed their colourful drawings at Ditton Early Years Centre in Dundalk Road, Widnes.
The unique designs by more than 100 children aged under four were offered for sale to parents for modest donations towards school funds.
Head of Centre Linda Bowles said: “We have been developing our creativity projects for all the children on an exciting programme culminating in our exhibition.
“We had an artist in residence, Claire Weetman, who inspired the children and staff with her creativing involving music, movement and media.”
The exhibition was organised by assistant head Suzanne Elson.
