A ROBBER brandishing a blade threatened staff at a Widnes pub.
He told barmaids at the Tavern pub in Upton Lane to open the till and stole a quantity of cash and ran off.
Detectives have issued an e-fit of the suspect and are appealing for witnesses.
DC Jason Heath said: "We are currently following up a number of lines of enquiry in relation to the robbery and are urging anyone who witnessed what happened or was in the area at the time and has seen anyone acting suspiciously to contact us immediately. “We are also keen to speak to anyone who has any information regarding the identity of the offender."
The incident took place shortly after 8pm on Thursday, November 8.
The offender is described as around 5ft 8ins tall with dark hair, dark, thick eyebrows, brown eyes, a long slim face and stubble.
He is believed to be aged between 25 to 29-years-old.
He was wearing a dark coloured jacket and a dark coloured scarf round the lower part of his face.
