People from all over the world celebrate Runcorn company's move

TWENTY different nationalities gathered to celebrate the opening of a new Runcorn factory.
Whitford, one of the world’s largest coatings manufacturers, has moved its UK HQ to Stuart Road in Manor Park, increasing its workforce to 90.
The company sells to more than 100 countries and has more than 80 offices across the globe.
One of the most successful products to use its coatings is the George Foreman Grill, having sold around 100 million units all over the world Managing director Martin Garnett said: “The opening day was a big success with over 200 customers, suppliers, contractors and Whitford colleagues attending.
“We had in excess of 20 different nationalities present and all were very impressed with our new factory, lab and offices.”
Founder and president Dave Willis from America joined guests as they toured the new site.
