A NEW food store is creating 20 jobs in Widnes.
Morrisons opens its seventh M local convenience store in Upton Rocks on Monday.
All fresh meat, fish, fruit and vegetables will be at the same price as the big town centre store.
Fresh coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice and bacon sandwiches will be available at a hot ‘food and go’ section along with a salad bar, deli express.
Store manager Nicola Barry said: “Our M local provides customers with a great range of fresh food at competitive prices, unlike most other convenience stores on the high street.
“We aim to concentrate on fresh food with half the store dedicated to this combined with scratch cooking at low prices to appeal to our budget-conscience shoppers.
“We are excited to show our customers their new local store and can’t wait to welcome them on Monday.”
The store will open from 6am to 11pm every day.
