A CHRISTMAS gift and craft market is being held at Farnworth CE Primary School, Pit Lane, in Widnes, on Saturday, November 17, from 12 noon to 4pm.

More than 30 stalls will offer a selection of ideas for festive presents.

Head teacher Jackie Stilings said: “Last year, Christmas market proved to be such a huge success, we just knew it had to be an annual event.

“This year’s it’s bigger and better with a vast array of local traders selling premium and unique Christmas products. It’s a great way to start the Christmas season without the hassle of city centre shopping and to support local businesses too.”

Halton’s Mayor and Mayoress, Clrs Tom and Angela McInerney will open the fair.
