CORONATION Street actor Bruno Langley made his debut as Jack in the Beanstalk at Widnes Market.
He joined other cast members to launch this year’s Brindley panto.
Bruno, who played the soap’s first gay character, Todd Grimshaw, will play the lead in the festive production.
He teamed up with Nick Newbould who will play Silly Billy, Jamie Greer who stars as Dame Trott and Paula Bell, Brookside’s Emma Piper, who will appear as Queen Blunderbore.
Paula made her first stage appearance when she was two.
She was nominated for best newcomer in the national television awards for her Brookside role.
Brookside’s Sarah White and Camille Mesnart from Andrew Lloyd Weber’s TV search for Dorothy in Over The Rainbow, also join the Christmas cast in Runcorn.
The Halton Council panto runs at from December 14 to January 13.
