A WIDNES man has been missing for more than a week.
Cheshire Police say they are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of 49-year-old David Houghton-Lewis.
They have made an urgent appeal to him to contact his family to say he is safe.
He failed to return to his home in Lunts Heath Road, Farnworth. He has not been seen since 9.45am on Monday, October 23.
His family reported him missing on Thursday, October 25.
David is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall, and of medium build. He has brown shaved hair.
Inspector Iain Hannan said: "We are very concerned for David′s welfare and would appeal directly to him to get in touch so we can let his family know he is safe. Your family are very worried about you.
"We would urge anyone who may have seen David, or anyone matching his description to contact Cheshire Police.”
It is possible David may be in the Ambleside area of the Lake District.
Anyone who may have seen David or has information regarding his whereabouts is urged to call Cheshire Police on 101.
