Forty-nine-year-old man missing from home in Lunts Heath Road, Widnes

POLICE are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 49-year-old man reported missing from his home in Widnes on Thursday.

David Houghton-Lewis has not been seen since 9.45am on Monday and was reported missing when he failed to return to his home in Lunts Heath Road.

David is described as white, 5ft 8in and of medium build. He has brown, shaved hair.

It is possible he is in the Ambleside area of the Lake District.

Inspector Iain Hannan, from Cheshire Police, said: "We are very concerned for David′s welfare and would appeal directly to him to get in touch so we can let his family know he is safe. Your family are very worried about you.

"We would urge anyone who may have seen David, or anyone matching his description, to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 646 of October 25."
