Two charged following boat thefts

TWO men have been charged after five boats were stolen in Widnes.
It follows the theft of the boats from a storage yard in Mersey View Road in February. Four of the five boats have been found now.
A 38-year-old, from St Helens, is charged with theft and a 46-year-old, from Prescott, is charged with theft and perverting the course of justice.
The men were arrested in March and bailed pending further inquiries. They will appear at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on November 9.
