Naomi Campbell has revealed that she is "proud" to be a Londoner as she hosted a charity dinner party in London.

The 42-year-old supermodel, who made headlines after being pictured with an apparently receding hairline during her holiday in Ibiza, looked elegant in a floor-length black Roberto Cavalli gown and silver bangles for the star-studded bash in celebration of the London 2012 Olympic Games and in partnership with her charity Fashion For Relief.

"The 2012 Olympics have been remarkable - I am elated for Team GB and the extraordinary success they have had so far," she was quoted as saying.

Showing off thick, glossy hair, she added: "It is a very special and proud time to be in London and to celebrate the outstanding talent, which has been showcased during the games. I wish everyone taking part in London 2012 continued strength, determination and perseverance for the remainder of the games."

Naomi was joined at the Olympic Celebration Dinner in Downtown Mayfair by celebrity friends from the fashion, sporting, film and music worlds including Kate Moss, Ronnie Wood, Alexander McQueen's creative director Sarah Burton, Dame Vivienne Westwood, Emeli Sande and Adam Deacon.
