Jennifer Aniston has promised that the second instalment of Horrible Bosses is even funnier than the first.

The Friends star resumes her role as sex-crazed dentist Dr Julia Harris in the harebrained comedy, which sees three regular guys turn their attention to kidnapping after their failed attempts at murder in the first outing.

The movie reunites Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day as the three would-be criminals looking for quick-fixes for their problems.

Jennifer picks up her role as Charlie’s character’s foul-mouthed former employer and said this time round is even more hilarious.

Speaking on the red carpet at the world premiere of the movie in Los Angeles, Jennifer said: “Dare I say it’s funnier? There I said it, it’s really fun.”

Dressed in a white lace top and a dramatic black skirt, Jennifer arrived at the premiere without her fiance Justin Theroux, saying the film would give audiences a fun night out.

“It’s a great entertaining experience for a group of people who want to laugh,” she said.

The film sees Oscar winners Jamie Foxx and Kevin Spacey resume their roles for the sequel, while welcoming the addition of Christoph Waltz and Chris Pine as father and son investors who scam the central trio when they set up their own business.

Asked how much fun it was to be bad, Django Unchained star Christoph said: “Who said I was bad?! I just did what I had to do with these three goons.”

Addressing how different it was to do comedy after a string of dramatic roles, he added: “That is a long discussion because my idea of comedy might not be yours, so we have to play around with the definition first.

“I think comedy is a serious business as we know, it’s very difficult and that much more do I admire the three artists I call the goons because they really know what they are doing. They aren’t just being silly, they are exquisite.”

Horrible Bosses 2 is released in the UK on November 28.
