INTERNATIONAL recording artists Foster and Allen are celebrating their 40th anniversary in the music business with a special tour.

The musicians will be on stage at the Brindley Theatre on Sunday, November 20.

The pair learnt their craft in country music bands around Ireland and brought their traditional instruments to the UK in 1975.

Mick Foster and Tony Allen formed a duo and their debut single A Bunch of Thyme became their first number 1 single in Ireland.

Their career took off and they released more than 30 albums into the British charts.

They have toured the UK, USA, Canada, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Tasmania and appeared on countless TV shows all over the world plus their own series in Ireland.
