FUNNYMAN Patrick Monahan is bringing his new stand-up show to Runcorn.

The Disco Years is described as a laugh out loud show that is both thoughtful and smart as well as brilliantly silly.

The comedian will be on stage at the intimate Brindley Studio at 8pm on Saturday, May 21.

In addition to touring the UK, Patrick plays to audiences all over Europe and has appeared in far-flung hotspots including Dubai, Bahrain and Costa Rica.

Patrick was named Britain’s hardest working comedian in 2015 for playing the highest number of venues in the UK.

His gig in Runcorn is sandwiched between one in Durham and one in Edinburgh.

His many TV appearances ITV’s Splash, Loose Women, The Wright Stuff, and as host of Jongleurs Live On Sky.

In 2012 he took part in Let’s Dance for Sports Relief on BBC, won best newcomer at the Loaded LAFTA Awards and Forth Radio best stand-up people’s choice award for his hit show Hug Me I Feel Good.

Patrick was the winner of the 2011 ITV1 series Show Me The Funny which led to the release of his debut DVD ‘Patrick Monahan Live’.

He is a regular MC and headlining act at top London and UK comedy clubs and is in huge demand on the corporate circuit as an after dinner speaker and awards host.

Patrick is a keen runner and fundraises for the baby hospice charity Zoe’s Place.

He has completed to London Marathons and three Great North Runs.
