THE UK’s longest-running musical is on its way to Manchester.

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will arrive at the Palace Theatre next month bringing with it an all-star cast.

Greater Manchester’s West End star Danielle Hope – winner of the BBC’s Over the Rainbow search for Dorothy – will be joined on stage by X Factor finalist Lloyd Daniels who will be making his musical theatre debut.

The musical retells the biblical story of Joseph, his eleven brothers and the coat of many colours and includes songs such as Jacob and Sons, Close Every Door and Any Dream Will Do.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will be at the Palace Theatre from October 21 to 25 at 7.30pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening with matinees at 1.30pm on Wednesday and Thursday.

Weekends performances will be at 5pm and 8pm on Friday and Saturday with a matinee at 2pm on Saturday.
