Steve Carell and Paul Rudd are avid fans of British comedy.
The two actors were joined by British talent in their new film, Dinner With Schmucks - with actors such as David Walliams (Little Britain), Chris O'Dowd (The IT Crowd) and Lucy Punch (Vexed) making appearances.
"I grew up watching Monty Python, and the British version of The Office is such an iconic TV show," Steve declared.
Paul said: "My parents are British and I've always loved a lot of the comedy over here."
Paul, who previously worked with Steve on The 40 Year Old Virgin and Anchorman, couldn't help feeling a bit star-struck as the British comics popped onto the set.
"It was surreal and super exciting. It's a long list and it's really cool. Every time somebody new came along, I was so thrilled because I'm such a comedy fan in general," he said.
"I knew Chris O'Dowd, I loved The IT Crowd but I'd never met him. David is notorious. I knew him a bit, I was a big Little Britain fan," he added.
