Glamour girls ready for contest

BUDDING beauties, here's a chance to become Miss England!
The final audition for Miss Halton Pride 2008 is being held at 6pm on Friday at Bar Reef in Victoria Square, Widnes.
"It is very exciting," said organiser Nadia Fitzsimons.
"This is an opportunity for a young woman to represent Halton and become an ambassador."
So far, 15 girls have entered.
Contestants must be aged 17 to 24, have no children and never been married.
A one year modelling contract will be awarded to the winner and all the finalists will receive prizes.
Miss Halton Pride 2008 will be chosen on Sunday, June 1, at Widnes Recreation Club, Liverpool Road.
Tickets priced £10 are available from the club.
A raffle will be held in aid of Halton Haven.
