A FAMILY has paid tribute to a motorcyclist who died in a collision in Widnes.

Runcorn dad-of-three Peter Robinson, aged 30, died at Aintree Hospital from his injuries a few days after a crash on the A562 Dan's Road at around 7.50pm on Tuesday, August 5.

In a statement, his family said: "Peter was a lively character whose smile lit up the room.

"He was a proud family man who loved his three young children dearly.

"A father, son, fiance and friend sadly taken too soon at the fresh age of 30. He will be sadly missed by many."

His funeral will be held at St Michael's Church, Greenway Road, Runcorn, at 11.15am on Thursday, August 21.

Police are still appealing for witnesses to the incident.

Anyone who say the collision or anything in the build up to it should contact Sgt Rachel Gallagher on 101, quoting incident number 877 of 5 August 2014.
